About Us
A small precast concrete works in Salakpur, built around one product done properly.
Our story
Salakpur Hume Pipe Udyog Pvt. Ltd. was set up in Salakpur, Morang, to supply RCC Hume pipes to the road, drainage, and irrigation projects going up across the district. The yard was built around a simple idea: cast pipes close to where they're needed, so contractors aren't paying to truck concrete across the country.
What started as Hume pipe production has grown, in a limited way, to cover a few related precast items — but pipes remain the core of what we do every day.
Where we work
The factory and yard are located in Salakpur, in Morang District, Koshi Province. Most of our orders are delivered within Morang and the surrounding districts, and we can arrange dispatch further afield for larger orders.
Site visits are welcome — seeing a pipe come out of the mould tells a contractor more than a spec sheet ever will.

Every batch is mixed to spec, cast in steel moulds, cured properly, and checked before it leaves — no shortcuts to hit a delivery date. If a batch doesn't meet standard, it doesn't go out.

Used for road culverts, field drainage, and gravity sewer lines. Cast in steel moulds for a consistent wall thickness and true bore, then steam-cured and checked before dispatch.

How a pipe is made
Every pipe passes through the same five stages before it is cleared to leave the yard.

Batching & mixing
Cement, aggregate, and water are proportioned to the mix design for the pipe class being cast.

Casting
Concrete is spun or packed into steel moulds to form an even wall thickness along the full length.

Curing
Pipes are steam- or water-cured to build strength before the moulds are stripped.

Testing
Sample pipes are checked for wall thickness, straightness, and load bearing before a batch is released.

Dispatch
Approved pipes are stacked and loaded for delivery or yard collection.
